Therapeutic services are available to anyone in the state of Illinois and Minnesota. Revive Counseling is in-network with the following health plans:

Aetna — Blue Cross Blue Shield — Cigna — Health Partners — Medica — Optum PreferredOne — Ucare — United Health Care — United Health Group — UMR

**Some plans have more restrictive networks and it is recommended that you call the member services number on your insurance card to see if Revive Counseling is in network with your specific plan.

Using out-of-network benefits:

Even if Revive Counseling is not in-network with your insurance, you may still get money back through your out-of-network benefits. Here’s how it works:

1. Check your coverage Call your insurance and ask: Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? What’s my deductible? How much will they reimburse per session? Is there a limit?

2. Pay for sessions You’ll pay Revive Counseling directly after each session.

3. Get a superbill You will get a monthly receipt (called a superbill) with all the info your insurance needs.

4. Submit & get reimbursed Send the superbill to your insurance, and they may send you a check or deposit for part of the cost.

Session Rates

Initial Intake - 55 minutes - $225.00

Individual Session 55 minutes - $170.00

EMDR Session - 55 minutes - $195.00

EMDR Intensive - duration varies - $200.00/hour (not covered by insurance)

Family/Couples Therapy - 50 minutes - $170.00

Using Insurance

Opting to use insurance for therapy can reduce out-of-pocket costs, this can vary depending on your co-pay or high deductible health plan. A great first step would be to call your insurance plan to ask if Revive Counseling is in-network and to ask your insurance provider what coverage is available for outpatient mental health appointments.

Opting out of Insurance

Choosing to pay out-of-pocket for therapy can provide greater privacy and flexibility, as it ensures that no mental health information is shared with insurance companies and allows for a wider selection of therapists. Additionally, it often eliminates the need for a formal diagnosis, which can simplify the treatment process and reduce potential future insurance complications.
